Dead Weight
4:44
Five forty-seven and the ceiling’s staring down, The alarm’s a needle in the dark. One more minute is the oldest lie in town, Hit the snooze and watch it eat the spark.
This blanket’s got a gravity that satellites obey, My shoes are by the doorway like a dare. I know the kind of morning that I promised yesterday, And yesterday is watching from the chair.
Gravity keeps talking, begging me to stay, Every bone is concrete, poured into the grey. There’s a version of me waiting on the far side of the door, Counting all the mornings that I’ve given up before. I can lie here like an anchor, or I can make it move.. Time to lift this dead weight.
I don’t need a fire, I only need to stand, Cold floor on my feet like a vow. Nobody is coming with a miracle in hand, The only rescue rolling in is now.
Gravity keeps talking, begging me to stay, Every bone is concrete, poured into the grey. There’s a version of me waiting on the far side of the door, Counting all the mornings that I’ve given up before. I can lie here like an anchor, or I can make it move.. Time to lift this dead weight.
Count it down from five.. four.. three.. two.. Feet hit the floor like thunder coming true. Lace the shoes, kill the alarm, let the morning through, The dark can keep the bed: I’m already moving.

Keys in my pocket, breathing like a storm, Streetlights going amber in the cold before the warm. Hand on the handle now.. The door is closer than the bed.

Threshold
3:44
Threshold.. one step takes it all, Past the glass, past the fear, past the wall. Nobody in here is judging you, They were all beginners too.
Hood up in the carpark, talking myself round, Heartbeat like a kick drum, four-to-the-floor sound. Every excuse I own is queuing in my head, Too busy, too tired, too far behind instead. But the light inside is humming like a promise made to me, And the hardest rep of any day is turning up the key.
Threshold.. one step takes it all, Past the glass, past the fear, past the wall. Nobody in here is judging you, They were all beginners too.
Chalk dust in the corners, morning crew inside, Every kind of body, every kind of stride. The strongest one you’ll ever see once shook right where you stand, Once fumbled every clip and plate with a trembling hand. So breathe out all the stories that you told yourself before, The only membership that matters walks you through the door.
Somewhere in your chest there’s a switch marked ON, It’s been sitting in the dark for far too long. Reach in slow.. flip it now.. Feel the current coming strong.
Three.. two.. one.. step through!
Threshold.. one step takes it all, Past the glass, past the fear, past the wall. Nobody in here is judging you, They were all beginners too.

I’m in.. I’m really in, The current’s live under my skin. Now wake this body up.. Let the session begin.

Warm the Machine
4:54
Rusty on the first stretch, shoulders full of sand, Every joint’s an old gate creaking on demand. Roll the neck and let the sleep fall off me on the floor, Ten slow breaths, and the body asks for more.
Systems check.. lights on down the line, Heart online, lungs online, and the current’s feeling fine.
Warm the machine, let the pistons wake, Blood in the engine, feel the stiffness break. Roll the shoulders, grease the hinges, light the core, Every system coming online more and more. Slow is smooth and smooth is strong, Build a fire that carries on. Ten more breaths and turn the key.. This body’s got a job for me.
Empty bar for openers, pattern over pride, Teaching every hinge again the way it’s meant to glide. Sweat is only proof the furnace caught the flame, Cold machines and champions never share a name.

First plate slides on with a ring of steel, Then another, and the bar starts getting real. Chalk on my palms like snow before the storm.. The engine isn’t idling now, the engine’s warm.

Loaded and waiting in the rack for me, Knurling like a handshake, iron honesty. Step up to the steel now.. Time to get under the bar.

Under the Bar
3:22
Feet screwed to the floor, Hands find the score. Big breath, lock it down, Steel don’t make a sound. Eyes up, spine like stone, This ground is my own.
Under the bar! (bar!) This is who you are! (are!) Grip it, rip it, drive! Never felt this alive!
Plates ring like a bell, Doubt can go to hell. Last year’s heaviest day, That’s my warm-up weight. Every rep’s a brick, Walls don’t build up quick.
Under the bar! (bar!) This is who you are! (are!) Grip it, rip it, drive! Never felt this alive!
Legs start talking back, Vision’s going black. One more rep, I say, Oldest prayer I pray. Snooze took ‘one more’ first, Now I own those words.
(Breathe. Brace. The bar doesn’t care how you feel. Stand up with it anyway.)
Under the bar! (bar!) This is who you are! (are!) Grip it, rip it, drive! Never felt this alive!
Extra plate slides on, Fear of it is gone. Knees drive through the floor, Lungs let out a roar. Gravity got told, Iron turns to gold.
Under the bar! (bar!) This is who you are! (are!) Grip it, rip it, drive! Never felt this alive!
Rack it.. let it ring, Heart’s a hammering thing. Still redlining in my chest.. So let’s go and use the rest.
05
Redline
3:59
Lungs on fire, but the fire’s how I know I’m still in here, Feet keep falling like a drumroll rolling through the fear. Heart’s a kick drum and it’s locking with the bass, Sweat like rain across my face. Push the needle to the place where numbers disappear.. Take it to the redline.
Belt starts moving and the interval clock is lit, Thirty seconds flying, thirty seconds just to sit. Legs like pistons and the screen’s a blur of red, Every stride a drumbeat hammering ahead.
Second round is meaner and the third one’s got a knife, Bargaining with seconds like I’m bargaining for life. But the current’s at full voltage and it’s singing in my veins, I came here for the storm, I didn’t come here for the rains.
Somewhere past the burning there’s a quiet I can hear, Where the body runs on lightning and the mind is crystal clear.. Hold it.. hold it.. one last climb..

Belt winds down and my legs are made of string, The tank is showing empty on everything. I reach for one more effort.. and I stall.. And that’s when I hit the wall.
06
The Wall
3:34
Chalk dust settles like the end of snow, The bar sits heavy where I let it go. Doubt’s a polite voice saying, that’ll do, But the wall only moves.. for one more.
Every athlete hits this stretch of stone, Standing in the middle feeling all alone. Half of me is begging for the door, But the wall only moves.. for one more.
There’s a stranger in the mirror breathing hard, Shaking like a candle in a wind-torn yard. I used to look away from him before.. Tonight I look him in the eye.
Nobody remembers all the reps that came easy, They remember what you did when it got heavy. The quit lives loud, but I’ve heard it roar before, And the wall only moves.. for one more.
Feel the current flicker, but it isn’t out, Under all the ashes there’s a living doubt-proof shout. Put my palm against the stone and feel it shift a hair.. It moved. It actually moved.
So I chalk my hands again and take the floor, Empty isn’t empty, there’s a little more. I lean into the stone like never before, ’Cause the wall only moves.. for one more.
One more.. One more.. Say it like a match being struck.. One more.
07
One More
4:11
The whisper caught, the ember took, the fire’s in the room, The bar is loaded heavier than any I’ve moved. My hands remember every morning that I chose the floor, And every single one of them is knocking at this door.
One more, when the tank is dry, One more, and you’ll find out why. Every legend is built from the reps nobody saw, Count it with me now and raise the floor. Heavier than ever and I’m hungry for the score.. Whatever you’ve got: one more.
The stranger from the mirror’s standing right here in my shoes, Turns out he was never someone built to lose. Chalk it, grip it, brace it, every lesson in my bones, Tonight the dead weight’s flying and the wall is only stones.
One more, when the tank is dry, One more, and you’ll find out why. Every legend is built from the reps nobody saw, Count it with me now and raise the floor. Heavier than ever and I’m hungry for the score.. Whatever you’ve got: one more.
Everything goes silent when I step inside the ring, Just my breath, the steel, and one unbroken string.. Pull it tight..
Drive! And the knees come through, Rise! Like the morning knew, Lock it out against the sky, Personal best, say goodbye!
One more, when the tank is dry, One more, and you’ll find out why. Every legend is built from the reps nobody saw, Count it with me now and raise the floor. Heavier than ever and I’m hungry for the score.. Whatever you’ve got: one more.
The wall’s in pieces on the floor, And I already want some more. Tell the iron I said so.. Same time tomorrow.

Same Time Tomorrow
4:59
Push the doors and let the morning pour across the ground, The carpark’s painted gold and there is nobody around. My arms are made of jelly and my legs are made of smoke, And I haven’t felt this solid since the day before I woke.
Every heavy morning buys a lighter one to come, And today is in the bank now.. one more done.
Walking out lighter than I walked in the door, Sunrise on the carpark like a crown. Left a little weakness back there on the floor.. Same time tomorrow, write it down.
Caught my own reflection in the glass beside the stairs, The stranger in the mirror finally answers to my stares. Same tired eyes, same ordinary frame I’ve always known, But something in the shoulders says this body’s coming home.
Every heavy morning buys a lighter one to come, And today is in the bank now.. one more done.
Walking out lighter than I walked in the door, Sunrise on the carpark like a crown. Left a little weakness back there on the floor.. Same time tomorrow, write it down.
I’m leaving on the switch inside my chest, Let the current hum away while I rest. One good day is just a spark, a hundred is a sun.. And I plan on collecting every one.
Walking out lighter than I walked in the door, Sunrise on the carpark like a crown. Left a little weakness back there on the floor.. Same time tomorrow, write it down.
And when the alarm goes off tomorrow, quarter to the dawn, It won’t catch me sleeping.. the current’s still on. Bed can keep its gravity, I’ve found something more.. See you at the door.
