01 Keys Back 3:38
Keys Back artwork

Keys back, heart on, engine running gold No map, so what, watching night unfold I learned your streets forever, now the city knows my name Foot down, lights up, never twice the same Keys back, hear me say it now My lane, my lane, only mine now

Left your name at the door, don’t live there anymore Picked my crown off the floor, that’s what these hands are for Rings on, lipstick red, paid off everything you said Tank full, past is dead, green lights up ahead

Count it in with me now: three, two, one

Keys back, heart on, engine running gold No map, so what, watching night unfold I learned your streets forever, now the city knows my name Foot down, lights up, never twice the same Keys back, hear me say it now My lane, my lane, only mine now

My lane (my lane), my lane (my lane) Gold light (gold light), all night (all night)

You kept the quiet, I kept the noise You kept the ceiling, I kept the choice Chrome in the moonlight, ten and two Every horsepower over you Rearview shrinking, there you go: smallest thing I’ll ever know

For a minute, just the hum.. Wheels and heartbeat, kicking like a drum Then the skyline says my name.. Baby, drive

Keys back, heart on, engine running gold No map, so what, watching night unfold I learned your streets forever, now the city knows my name Foot down, lights up, never twice the same Keys back, hear me say it now My lane, my lane, only mine now

Keys back, heart on, engine running gold No map, so what, watching night unfold I learned your streets forever, now the city knows my name Foot down, lights up, never twice the same Keys back, hear me say it now My lane, my lane, only mine now

Foot flat.. watch me go Faster now, faster now

02 Faster 3:38
Faster artwork

Ten o’clock, doors wide, girls up front, world outside Heels click like a metronome, this whole city feels like home Phones down, lights strobe, gold dust on a disco globe Tell the DJ what we need: double up and give us speed

Hands up, heart loud, neon in our eyes Bass drops, don’t stop, we don’t apologise All night, so right, nothing left to prove Faster, faster

Week was long, shake it loose, sweat it out, no excuse Every worry left at the door, that’s not what tonight is for Count the colours in the smoke, laugh so hard we nearly choke Arms up high, squad in flight, watch the ceiling turn to light

Hands up, heart loud, neon in our eyes Bass drops, don’t stop, we don’t apologise All night, so right, nothing left to prove Faster, faster

Bassline running through the floor, through my heels and through the door Midnight came and midnight went, best money that I never spent New song, same crew, singing words we never knew If the morning wants us back, it can chase us down the track

Slow it down? Not yet.. we’re not nearly finished yet

Hands up, heart loud, neon in our eyes Bass drops, don’t stop, we don’t apologise All night, so right, nothing left to prove Faster, faster

Last call, who cares, we’ll take the speakers down the stairs One more track before we fly, holding sunrise for goodbye Save a little for the drive, this is what it means: alive Hearts still drumming in the queue, later on I’ll slow it, later on

Hands up, heart loud, neon in our eyes Bass drops, don’t stop, we don’t apologise All night, so right, nothing left to prove Faster, faster

Later on.. I’ll slow it down, later on

03 Rearview 4:04
Rearview artwork

Velvet on the seat and perfume in the air, streetlights running honey through my hair Radio down low, engine breathing slow, every block behind me one I used to know You could call it leaving, I would call it art, took me twenty minutes, took you years to start City in the windscreen opening like wine: funny how the whole road suddenly is mine

There’s a version of me buried in your phone, smiling for a picture, never quite at home She can keep the caption, she can keep the pose, I kept everything that matters: I kept those Painted nails on leather, ten and two again, counting every mile like medicine Glance up at the mirror just to watch it shrink: you’re a little smaller every time I blink

I don’t chase whatever’s gone, I let it blur, tail lights make the old days look so small Silk across my shoulder, sure as sin, never really needed you at all Kiss the glass goodbye, so long, adieu: everything looks better in the rearview

Someone’s always asking if I’m doing fine, darling, check the mirror, read between the lines Skin like golden hour, shoulders finally down, wearing my own silence like a crown Slow songs for the fast girls, that’s the mood tonight, letting all the amber wash me white One hand on the wheel and one hand free: first time in forever both belong to me

I don’t chase whatever’s gone, I let it blur, tail lights make the old days look so small Silk across my shoulder, sure as sin, never really needed you at all Kiss the glass goodbye, so long, adieu: everything looks better in the rearview

I’m not angry anymore.. that’s the news Ash where there was fire, and I get to choose So I keep a little matchbook, just in case: some nights want a fuse

I don’t chase whatever’s gone, I let it blur, tail lights make the old days look so small Silk across my shoulder, sure as sin, never really needed you at all Kiss the glass goodbye, so long, adieu: everything looks better in the rearview

Strike the match.. light the fuse

04 Detonate 3:49
Detonate artwork

Match lit, fuse short, patience was a bad sport Heels on, doors wide, pressure cooking up inside Whole year, held tight, handing it to Friday night Stand back, count down, about to paint this town

Detonate, blow the doors, shake the concrete floors, louder till the ceiling’s gone, then a little more No brakes, no waiting, hearts like TNT: every kick a countdown, three, two, one, release

Bass hits, chest tight, best kind of dynamite New track, drop soon, whole room howling at the moon Sweat gold, eyes bright, running on pure appetite Say my name, say it twice, sugar with a fuse is nice

Detonate, blow the doors, shake the concrete floors, louder till the ceiling’s gone, then a little more No brakes, no waiting, hearts like TNT: every kick a countdown, three, two, one, release

Boom (boom), let it go (let it go) Boom (boom), blow (blow)

Hear that? Silence.. that’s the room holding its breath One spark left in my pocket, and I never save the best

This is for the quiet years, for every swallowed word Tonight the bass says all of it, and every floor gets heard

Detonate, blow the doors, shake the concrete floors, louder till the ceiling’s gone, then a little more No brakes, no waiting, hearts like TNT: every kick a countdown, three, two, one, release

Smoke into the night.. watch it rise

05 Night Circuit 5:18
Night Circuit artwork

I take the ring road while the city’s sleeping slow, windows down and every single signal glowing green The radio is humming something soft and low, and I have never felt this weightless or this clean Towers pouring violet on the empty lanes, reflections sliding liquid over chrome and glass Nobody to answer to and no more chains, just white lines keeping tempo as the hours pass

Engine like a pulse I finally own: turn the corner, take the long way home

Round and round the city on a wire of light, every lap a little more of me comes back Neon on my knuckles, midnight burning bright, gold dust in the mirrors of the black I don’t need a finish line to win tonight, every exit passing is a choice I get to make Solo on the circuit and it feels so right: one more lap around the night, for my own sake

Fuel gauge says forever and I half believe, dashboard constellations spelling out my name Funny all the futures I could not conceive, parked inside a life that always looked the same Now the overpass unrolls me like a song, skyline like a synthline rising on my right Everything I carried that was heavy’s gone, traded for a tank of gas and city light

Somewhere back in there the music’s calling still, silver spinning slow above the floor.. I could chase that little moon, and yes I will: that’s what all this horsepower’s for

Chasing silver light.. back inside

06 Mirrorball 4:14
Mirrorball artwork

Mirrorball, spin me, thousand little lights, every single one of them is mine tonight Catch me in the silver, catch me in the glow, a hundred different women and they all say go Turn, turn, honey watch me turn: brighter than the money that I burn

Little moon above the floor, raining silver by the door Every shard a souvenir, every version of me here The one who cried, the one who grew, the one who finally said we’re through All of them came out to play, none of them are going away

Let it spin.. let it spin, let it spin

Mirrorball, spin me, thousand little lights, every single one of them is mine tonight Catch me in the silver, catch me in the glow, a hundred different women and they all say go Turn, turn, honey watch me turn: brighter than the money that I burn

Spin (spin), glow (glow) Mine (mine), go (go)

Someone’s staring, let them stare, diamonds happen to the rare I’m not dancing to be seen, I’m the light and the machine Floor tiles drumming through my shoes, bass line paying all my dues Feel it climbing through the floor: lower now, and give me more

Freeze the moment, silver rain.. every mirror knows my name Not one piece of me on loan: every sparkle is my own

Mirrorball, spin me, thousand little lights, every single one of them is mine tonight Catch me in the silver, catch me in the glow, a hundred different women and they all say go Turn, turn, honey watch me turn: brighter than the money that I burn

Mirrorball, spin me, thousand little lights, every single one of them is mine tonight Catch me in the silver, catch me in the glow, a hundred different women and they all say go Turn, turn, honey watch me turn: brighter than the money that I burn

Feel it in the floor.. feel it in the floor

07 Heavy 3:58
Heavy artwork

Walk slow, room tilts, floorboards learning how it feels Small talk, save it, speakers say the things I mean No rush, no chase, gravity does all the work Stand here, watch this: weight is its own kind of queen

Heavy, let the bass sit low, heavy, feel it down below Walk in, floor bends, speakers overload: queen weight, carry it like gold

They said soften, shrink some, easier for everyone Tried that, wore it, never really was my size New fit: full volume, tailored to the bassline’s cut Stay in my lane? Sweetheart: they stay out of mine

Heavy, let the bass sit low, heavy, feel it down below Walk in, floor bends, speakers overload: queen weight, carry it like gold

Low end, deep water, most of me beneath the top Still face, storm system, barometers begin to drop Ask around, they’ll tell you, lightning doesn’t ask permission Count the thunder, count it: one, and here it comes

Quiet now.. hold it.. let the whole room lean in close Heavy things move slowest, right before they move the most

Heavy, let the bass sit low, heavy, feel it down below Walk in, floor bends, speakers overload: queen weight, carry it like gold

Floor drums, chest hums, neon buzzing in the glass No crown, don’t need one, subwoofers announce the queen All night, my night, carved my name into the bass Louder, lower: best sound I have ever seen

Heavy, let the bass sit low, heavy, feel it down below Walk in, floor bends, speakers overload: queen weight, carry it like gold

Turn it up some more.. some more

08 Overdrive 3:44
Overdrive artwork

Needle climbing, midnight turning thin, every limit that they drew for me is chalk Rules were fences, fences let me in, now the engine does the talking, watch it walk Heart at redline, holding perfectly, calm inside a hurricane of light All the small nos they collected: see, burning off like vapour in the night

Redline rising, midnight turning white, kick drums like a hammer made of light Past the limit, past the point of cold: overdrive, overdrive

Used to ration every single spark, kept my voltage decent, kept it neat Funny what ignites out in the dark, when a girl stops braking for the street Speedcam flashes, keep the photograph, best I’ve ever looked is at full send Hear that thunder? That’s my epitaph: she found out the limits were pretend

Redline rising, midnight turning white, kick drums like a hammer made of light Past the limit, past the point of cold: overdrive, overdrive

There was a version of me who idled.. engine on, going nowhere, years She’s the one I’m driving for tonight: watch me spend her unspent gears

Take the ceiling, take the floor, take the limiter off the sun If it glows I’ll want it more: I am nowhere close to done

Redline rising, midnight turning white, kick drums like a hammer made of light Past the limit, past the point of cold: overdrive, overdrive

Burning into gold.. into gold

09 Golden 4:34
Golden artwork

Five a.m. and the city’s finally still, club lights cooling, colours winding down Coat around my shoulders on the windowsill, watching morning pour across the town All the noise I danced through settles into skin, every bassline sleeping in my chest Quietest I’ve ever let the daylight in, first time quiet ever felt like rest

There’s a mirror by the door I used to dread, used to meet a stranger in the glass Now I catch her smiling at me instead, soft as sunrise sliding on the grass No more flinching, no more looking for the flaw, no more grading everything I am Just a woman glowing at the girl she saw, morning on my skin and here I am: and everything is golden, everything is golden

Didn’t know that peace could have a temperature, didn’t know that light could taste like this Every scar the sunrise touches turns to her: warm, and mine, and gold, and his no more

Tea steam curling ribbons through the amber air, playlist down to songs that breathe and sway Yesterday is perfume fading on a chair, and I would not trade this for yesterday Phone face-down and nobody I need to be, no one’s mirror, no one’s almost, no one’s maybe now Just the morning holding out its hand to me, and I take it, and I take a bow: and everything is golden, everything is golden

If she could see me, the girl from before, idling, waiting for a green.. I would tell her: darling, there’s a door, and the other side is gold, and you are seen

Sun is climbing rooftops, painting every pane, gilding all the streets I drove alone Every mile of midnight, every drop of rain, turned to something warm that I can own Keys there on the counter catching early light, one more drive is calling, soft and low Rested, golden, ready, feeling right, one hand on the door and one on go: and everything is golden, everything is golden

Sun is coming up.. so am I

10 Own Lane 4:32
Own Lane artwork

Morning through the windscreen like a promise kept, coffee in the cupholder and gold on glass Every street looks new, like the whole town slept, and woke up softer, letting me go past Radio finds a song I would have skipped before, now I let it play and sing along Funny how the same road feels like so much more, when the driver finally knows where she belongs

Green light, green light, all the way through: watch what a free girl can do

My own lane, painted in the morning gold, sunrise on the dashboard, hands at ten and two Every mile behind me is a story told, every mile in front of me is something new Keys back in the same hand that let you go, mirror full of daylight and I love the view Foot down through the amber and the afterglow: my own lane, and honey, I am driving through

There’s the club, still humming with the night we had, there’s the ring road curling like a signature Every version of me, dancing, driving, glad, rides along this morning, and I’m sure of her No more asking anybody for the wheel, no more shrinking down to fit a seat This is what the whole long winter tried to steal, and it’s mine, and it is sweet

One last look in the mirror, and I stay.. no more goodbyes to say Just a lane line running gold and true, and daylight pouring through

My lane.. my name.. my way home
